April 2010 Newsletter
News, views and Handy Hints
In this month's newsletter you can find out more about Microsoft SharePoint 2010 with its new streamlined interface and improved features for both IT professionals and developers. For those who have upgraded their operating system to Windows 7 we also reveal some new features of the Calculator application.
Microsoft SharePoint 2010
Sharepoint 2010 Logo
SharePoint has been subjected to a major overhaul and offers many improvements for both IT professionals and developers.

It has a slick new ribbon interface, fully integrated with Microsoft Office 2010, with ribbon tabs which appear based on which application you are using.

Administration is simplified with the new Central Administration Console, and Visual Upgrade ensures upgrades from Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 will not impact or change the user interface on existing SharePoint sites. Our Microsoft SharePoint 2010 preview for IT professionals and developers will go into more detail on these and the other improvements in Microsoft SharePoint 2010.

SharePoint professionals are finding our Microsoft Training 365 subscriptions ideal for keeping fully up-to-date with their training; they already include the full range of training for SharePoint Server 2007 and will automatically be updated with new SharePoint 2010 courses as they are released.
