C.B.Learning announces first official online training for Windows® 7 from Microsoft®

BIRMINGHAM, England – 21 May, 2009 - C.B.Learning today announced the availability of the first official Windows 7 online training courses. Available free of charge for a limited period, the courses preview the new features of the upcoming Windows 7 operating system.

Authored by veteran computer book author and MVP Mitch Tulloch, the courses join the expanding Microsoft Online Learning course portfolio offered by the company. Microsoft Online Learning courses are an interactive, hands-on and low-cost method of training that can be used both at home and at work, anytime and anywhere.

Paul Savill, Director of Marketing at CBL was quoted as saying “We are really pleased that Microsoft has provided these introductory courses to their new PC operating system in the form of online training. We are also delighted that we can provide them free of charge from our website”.

Course Details

Initially there are three courses available in "clinic" format:

Clinic 10125: What's New in Windows 7 for Consumers (1 hour)
Clinic 10088: What's New in Windows 7 for Information Workers (2 hours)
Clinic 10077: What's New in Windows 7 for IT Professionals (2 hours)
 
These clinics cover the key enhancements in Windows 7 outlining how users will be able to improve their productivity as well as work in a more secure environment. IT Professionals will learn about the improvements to deployment, security, manageability and performance, and how these improvements will meet their needs.
